Eastvale
Government
Eastvale is the only settlement in the kingdom that is not ruled over by a noble. Technically, it is ruled by King Aaron along with the rest of the Kingdom. However, he doesn't usually have time for the trivial matters of the city, so his advisor, Severin von Malus, handles a lot of the city level problems.
Districts
The city is split into four quarters, the Noble Quarter to the North, the Residential Quarter to the East, the Lower Quarter to the South, and the Merchant Quarter to the West. Each one contains a city gate (named for which direction they are in, ie. The gate in the Noble Quarter is the Northern Gate). The Western Gate is the largest, as the Merchant Quarter gets the most traffic.
History
Eastvale was founded as a small town during the Second Era. King Godfrey was born here. After his defeat of the Evil Overlord, he moved back to the small town and began expanding it into a city.
