Durgeddin's Home
Durgeddin’s Home is a compromise. The nation was under threat of dissolution after the fall of the Dargurdec Empire, their monarchy was all but beheaded and in an extremely weak position. The Dwarven people themselves tired of the constant war elected to turn back to their mines and their forges. The last master and King Durgeddin Blackblood slain and with him took the kingdom's knowledge on the forging of legendary magical weapons and tools. But still, the indomitable spirit of the Dwarves was not crushed and so they returned to their work for the next 900 years they rebuilt their stores, gold, weapons, and honor but all under the watchful eye of the world, The Crown Legion, and the Empire. The population of Durgeddin’s Home is composed nearly entirely of Mountain Dwarves with small populations of other peoples. A recent uptick in anti-Imperial sentiment has grown in the noble class who have taken performative action by changing certain symbols back from Imperial to Durgeddin-era symbology going as far as renaming their nation in his honor. From all perspectives, this is purely performative by the nobles to ensure the populace does not take true anti-Imperial action.
