The Eltree Empire (L-Tree)

The Eltree Empire:

The Eltree Empire is a worldwide alliance with a long a varied history with roots in the prior Sun and Moon alliance, then progressed to the Council Eltree an alliance of the Tel-Quessir, which finally progressed into the Eltree Empire once the Kings of Man accepted an invitation to join. As it stands now the Eltree Empire functions as the greatest source of stability in the realms of Iveomos. However, they have been known to hold prisoners with significant maltreatment as well as providing support to several dangerous organizations such as the Imperial Hall of Merchants and cover for bad actors within the Empire itself. The Eltree Empire comprises of the Eltree Kingdom, The Moonlight Kingdom, The Alliance of Corinth, The Bedlam Mountains, The Followers of the Great Tree, and Durgeddin’s Home.

Culture

In many ways, the Empire is a nation built on hypocrisy. The first tenant of Imperial culture is that the way of the Elves particularly the lifestyle of the High Elves is the greatest way of living. Emphasizing the industriousness of the Elven mindset and the dedication of its people to the mastery of their chosen skill. An Elf can spend 400 years learning to be the greatest fletcher in all the lands, even if this is not an impressive job the dedication and perfection at which it is done is what makes it inspiring for both other Elves and other people. On the other hand, the Empire has been pushing for industrial mechanization in the colonies, completely antithetical to this with machines churning out lower quality but extremely numerous products without the mastery nor the care that they so highly revered.   The Empire intends to spread this view of the world to every race and every mind they can. Reinforcing Elvish's purity and talent while bashing and lowering that of the other races. They have conquered most of the free kingdoms of Odela and Iveomos as a whole. They view the belief that other people's cultures have value as well as being an insult to the Elvish way of life. This idea has been pushed by centuries of Elvish propaganda starting subtly but immediately after Empress Aerilaya took power of the Eltree Kingdom, the ancestral home of the High Elves.

Public Agenda

Four Stars

The Four Stars is the official public agenda of the Eltree Empire, while some believe they encompass a true telling of Imperial Motivation others believe it is just another piece of propaganda to portray them in a positive light.

The Four Stars:

1st: We strive for peace and prosperity throughout Iveomos. We work tirelessly to ensure that our citizens and allies can live in a safe and stable world, free from the chaos and conflict that has plagued other realms.   2nd: We teach the way of life that has made the Elven people the happiest and greatest in the realm to all those who wish to learn. We believe that by sharing our knowledge and culture, we can help uplift and improve the lives of all the peoples of Iveomos.   3rd: We defend our people and our allies. We stand firm against all threats to our realm, whether they come from without or within. We believe that only through strength and unity can we ensure the safety and security of our citizens and those who look to us for protection.   4th: We spread the knowledge and faith that the Seldarine has entrusted us with. We believe that the wisdom and guidance of our gods are essential to building a just and harmonious society. We seek to share this knowledge and faith with all those who seek it, so that they too may find enlightenment and purpose.   These Four Stars are the guiding light of the Eltree Empire, and we pledge to uphold them with honor and dedication. We invite all those who share our vision of a better Iveomos to join us in this noble quest. Long live the Eltree Empire, and long live Iveomos!

Military

The Imperial Military is the backbone of the Eltree Empire, consisting of several branches that work together to maintain the strength and stability of the realm. The Warmage Corps is a specialized division composed of powerful spellcasters, and is responsible for providing magical support to the ground forces. The Imperial Army is the largest and most important branch of the military, tasked with defending the borders of the empire and expanding its territory through conquest. The Imperial Navy is responsible for maintaining the security of the seas, and is primarily composed of ships equipped with powerful magical weaponry.   Recruitment into the military is mandatory for all citizens of the Empire. Military training is rigorous and extensive, with emphasis placed on physical fitness, combat skills, and magical proficiency for members of the Warmage Corps. Promotion within the military is based on a combination of merit and seniority, with those who display exceptional leadership and combat skills being given command positions. Although nepotism is certainly not unheard of for those of high birth.   The military operates under the direct authority of the Empress and her advisors, and is subject to the Imperial Code of Military Conduct. This code dictates the behavior and actions expected of all members of the military, with punishments ranging from fines and demotions to imprisonment or even execution for those found guilty of serious offenses. Despite the strict discipline enforced within the military, it is widely respected and revered by the citizens of the empire as a symbol of their strength and unity.

Protectorate

Even being the founding location of the Eltree Empire is still a technically distinct nation all the while being totally under the control of and even having the same rulers.

Protectorate

The Moonlight Kingdom is viewed in a very religious sense by the Empire which has painted them in a positive light even with their fairly common independence from traditional Eltree standard

Protectorate

The Wood Elves natural inclination towards freedom and nomadic living put them at odds with the industrialized Empire worsening relations

Protectorate

After the end of the first Imperial war, the Alliance of Corinth willingly joined the Eltree Empire as a protectorate.    Elvish supremacy sours the relationship from the view of the Empire   The Alliance of Corinth views the Empire as an unwanted but not immediately threatening Protector

Protectorate

The Bedlam Mountains have never been quiet in their disapproval of the Empire but each year they still send their taxes and levied soldiers. Whether their leaders are motivated by fear or money. Nothing ever changes.

Protectorate

The Dargurdec Empire has been the greatest enemy of the Imperials since its inception and Durgeddin's Home actively praises the old Empire

Peace

Following the Tlahtocoyatl leaving the Empire they have gained a tentative peace with the Empire carefully charting around the Confederations territory.
