Mystic
Requirements
It is said that the aspiring Mystics undertake a journey of nothingness, during which they take a vow of silence, have no name, no title, take an and spend their time meditate and perform simple labors around High Virki. It is said that the Mystics must become nothing, lose all awareness of themselves before they can see the truths of the rest of the world. Once the aspiring Mystic gains their true sight, they gain a new name, the title of Mystic and break their vow of silence to share their sight with others.
Duties
Little is known about the Creed and their goals in service to Ervo, but the Mystics are famous for descending from their mountaintop stronghold in High Virki to advise the worthiest of Stagcoran clans. A Mystics will serve as an advisor in this way for a few years to decades at a time, before traveling the world or returning to their siblings in High Virki.
Cultural Significance
The Mystics of the Creed of Ashensouls are revered among Stagcorans, but are relatively unknown in other parts of the world. While some interested groups, primarily of arcane researchers, are known to exist, the Creed's designation as a religious order dedicated to a relatively unpopular God has helped them maintain their distance from the rest of the world.
