Jungle Guides
In Port Nyanzaru and other locations across Chult can be found individuals plying a trade as guides. These people offer their services to adventurers, explorers, mercenary groups and others that require a more experienced hand in traversing and surviving the jungle.
Most guides opperate out of Port Nyanzaru, some have made themselves available elsewhere, such as Fort Beluarian. All guides within Port Nyanzaru owe a portion of their fees to the Merchant Prince Jobal who oversees their operation and licenses.
Although sharing an oversight from Jobal, each guide is an individual with no necessary loyalty or friendship to each other beyond what they naturally hold. Indeed, some are in direct competition with one another for patrons.
