M'Kufu Uwanja
A wealthy noble, with a Villa in the Portside District. A capable wizard, he has spent a great many years away from Chult, travelling many lands with his wife, Wazimu Uwanja. His son M'Byo stayed in their home, becoming a competent jouster in the Grand Coliseum.
They recently returned to Port Nyanzaru and since then, none of the family have been seen. It is suspected by Wakanga O'Tamu that M'Kufu has been using dark rituals and necromantic magic, and might be a threat to the cities safety. Wakanga hired The Sexiles to investigate.
During their investigation, guided by an agent of Wakanga, Kristoff Kallahn, they discover M'Kufu had somehow killed his mansion guards, and through his ethereal voice echoing through the home, confirmed he was now a wizard of great and terrible capability.
In the hidden chamber below his Villa, the Sexiles found M'kafu at the zenith of his ritual, drawing dark energy from an infant child. Unfortunately for him, his ritual failed, his body broke and split and was replaced by a horrific beast of bone and shadow, and although it nearly killed them, they destroyed it.
