A gem dealer who has gone over the edge

This is a foreign seller of gems. He was operating out of a stall at the Ormos market. When his associate (or perhaps boss) was enticed by Pyro and others to leave the stall and join the revelers, Pyro's companions crowded into the stall, and began to demand that this dealer - the last remaining person to watch the stall - should sell them a pearl at a very reduced cost. The gem dealer resisted this suggestion, and was soon involved in an altercation with the aggressive customers. In an attempt to chase away Abraxas, who had entered the back room and started rifling through the wares, the gem dealer took out his knife and attempted to stab him. Abraxas shouted for help, and this attracted a strange centaur, but also three soldiers . The gem dealer ultimately subdued Abraxas with his knife, but was himself downed by the centaur's spear. The soldiers defeated the marauders, but allowed Theresa Mellaniphe to attend to the shopkeeper's wounds.
His subsequent fate is unknown at present.
