In the beginning, there was the god Omecuhitli. Omecuhitli gives birth to his children, the Incarnates. The Scroll of Beginnings is created to mark their inception into the world Using magic, these gods create the planes of existence, but doing so also creates the monster Cipactli. They work together to slay Cipactli, using it's body to create the planet, the heaves, and the underworld Mictlan. However, the gods begin fighting, and end up destroying the world. Omecuhitli and one of the Incarnations, Valor, are sacrificed in order to create the planet anew, and the humanoid races of the world are born, inbued by the spirit of valor.

The beginnings of the universe as well as Zultica, according to their oral history. The god Omecuhitli is born, giving birth to his children, the Incarnates. Together, they work to create the planes of existence, the heavens and underworld, the planets, and all life. The world is destroyed, but is created once more, marking the 1st rebirth of the planet. The Incarnates then go into a deep slumber, and Omecuhitli departs from the planes.

The Night's Ritual Descends
Religious eventCompleting the Night Profane ritual, Sendaris attempts to begin a perpetual night, casting the sun out of the sky. This is foiled by Quetzuma, followed by the faithful of his menagerie. In the process, Axolotl is fatally bitten by Sendaris. Ubtao sacrifices Axolotl to become the sun. Upset by the betrayal of his menagerie and the corruption of the Zultican people, Quetzuma departs the jungle forever.

The Battle of the Menagerie
Military actionCreatures of Ubtao's Menagerie and their armies fight for control of the power in Zultica following Ubtao's departure. Tribes fracture and reform as factions gather to fight on behalf of Menagerie gods that represent their ideals, or those gods that convince them to join their side. The A'Toa are swept up into the conflict. Their roles as heroes are used as a recruitment tool, and they are manipulated to be used as chess pieces in military conflicts.
