Mount De Belfort

Mount De Belfort is the largest mountain on the Northern Continent of Kaldra, and is home to many creatures that prefer seclusion. It is a hard climate to survive in and has claimed its share of adventurers who bit off more than they could chew.
Belfort's Peak is visible from most places on the Northern Continent and especially in the Imperial Dominion of Span'ce, which lays ancestral claim to the mountain.
Although many have attempted to climb its summit, none have succeeded - and those who gave up tell tales of a strange beast that worked against them the entirety of their journey...
