Kalak (KAY-lack)

Kalak was the first deity created by Daiad the Shaper at the dawn of time.  He is the leader of the Vincaran pantheon, the one who judges souls upon death and decides what their afterlife will entail.  He is well suited for this job because he is always watching over Kavrillia.  During the day his all-seeing eye, the sun, observes the activities of mortals, and his estranged wife, Ainia, carries his other eye through the night.

Kalak is often represented by a sun-colored orb atop an obelisk or pillar.  His temples are decorated in red-orange contrasted with earth tones, often featuring sun-baked brick and dry stone.
