Pinehold Estate
The royal family has an estate in the pine forest about a half hour's drive north of Shalanera.
Vazali lived there for two years between her college graduation and her ascension to the throne. She had expected to live there longer, but her father's sudden death forced her to move into the Imperial Palace much sooner than planned.
The widowed queen, Vizada, moved to Pinehold soon after Vazali's coronation.
History
An ancient fortress once stood on this land, but the last crumbling ruins were torn down around two hundred years ago, and a lavish estate was constructed by the first members of the eleventh dynasty (Vazali's ancestors.)
