Khojin
Khojin, once a resident of the shadowed alleys of Kowloon, emerged shortly before the Uplifting that created Skysong. Khojin fled the chaos she knew was coming to instead choose what she thought was the least bad choice at the time, but instead found herself in an ideal position. When Cetina launched a small military assault on Highstorm as revenge for Cyrus's death, Khojin was there to defend the city. Though it was with great reluctance at the time, Khojin fought the small force and was the one to slay Cetina. This was many years ago, however, and nowadays Khojin enjoys a luxurious, comfortable existence as the primary owner and patron of The Theater, now lavishly rebuilt.
However, Khojin happily encourages the brutal tales about her past. Though she takes up a mysterious, alluring appearance day to day, her true one is a massive, vulture-like creature that feeds on magic. She’s also found a particular taste for Meridian.
Khojin maneuvers through the shadows with grace and precision, her keen eyes and ears ever watchful for threats to her adopted home. She uses her unique talents to safeguard the city's inhabitants from the dangers that Meridian poses. Beneath her aloof exterior lies a fierce determination to defend Highstorm and its people at any cost, earning her the respect and admiration of those who call the city home.
