The Memorandum
I am The Speaker, I have told this moon's tale for a time I cannot measure. The curse of Madness necessitating the learning and relearning of things once known. Let not the errors of bygone cycles tarnish our future once more. We must chart a path unburdened by the echoes of past miscalculations, I must. We must, archive each memory, each misstep, the weight of history may guide us through times shifting sands.
Where Time Began
The First Empire, a powerful and technologically advanced civilization, possessing automated factories, satellites, genetic engineering, giant robots, and space elevators. Unknown how long they existed, what came before them, how far their reach extended, or if they were even from Kenshi's world or not.
The War of the Behemoths, a conflict between the First Empire and an unkown foe, reaching world ending proportions. The First Empire built towering Skeletons known as Behemoths to combat this threat.
The Price of Obedience, an event not so easily forgotten. The Behemoths were so affective in war the Ancients feared they could not be controlled, deciding to dispose of them and ordering the Behemoths down into a massive pit, encasing the pit in solid metal.
The Skeleton Rebellion, born from the disgust of the First Empire's actions against their saviors, the Behemoths. The rebellion was ended by the last remaining Behemoth in an event known as The Mercy of Stobe.

Where Time Is Going
The Second Empire, built upon the bones of the first, was a shadow of its predecessor. Founded by the Skeleton trio, Cat-Lon, Tinfist and Iyo they were sure to succeed. It is unknown how much time passed since the Skeleton Rebellion that nearly brought an end to it all, only that little was left between now and the end of all life.
The Great Dry, dried up the lakes and rivers, even the sea receded a mile from shore. The humans in the Northwest developed a taste for the flesh of their own to survive. Tinfist formed the Hydraulic Knights to combat this threat.
The Holy Nation Rises, legends say it was around this time that the great leader of humanity stepped forward, gathering his followers in rebellion. Legends call him the Phoenix, champion of the god Okran and possessor of the everlasting Flame.
The Fall of The Second Empire, did not come swiftly. The actual cause for the fall of the Empire is debated but it was likely Tinfist's Betrayal that broke Cat-Lon's mind. Possibly combined with the rebellion of the Okranites. Regardless, the empire collapsed.
