Borealis
The island (landmasses?) of Borealis defy logic and science; since it's discovery in 189AV, hundreds of researchers for every walk of life have attempted to unlock the secrets of the floating islands in the sky, and the peoples who call it home.
Demographics
With the unique landmass structure of Borealis, it's inhabitants must, by nature, be able to fly. As such, the traditional inhabitants have been almost exclusively Air-based Genasi, with a small mix of the various Aarakocra lineages (mostly sea-bird varieties).
Government
Borealis remains a tribal society at it's core, with each large landmass belonging to, typically, a single tribe of peoples. While each tribe or clan is slightly different, the majority have a clan leader, typically a male elder, who leads them, and is often advised by a spiritual guide, someone the more 'civilized' peoples would refer to as either a shaman or a very animalistic cleric.
Industry & Trade
Little is produced on Borealis, and little is needed; they are a simple peoples who prefer a simple life. The introduction of 'modern' conveniences has not changed their lifestyles greatly over the last 30 years, nor is it expected to in the future.
Tourism
As a natural wonder, Borealis draws quite a bit of curiosity, but, it's remote location makes visiting it difficult at best. Many a ship will pass close to the landmasses so the passengers can view it, but few if any stop and allows passengers to debark.
