Personal history
Berrythorn was born in Faeling. She was raised wealthy until the age of six, when she started to show her powers. She claimed that it was after she released a little fairy from a trap. The fanciful tale was generally disregarded by her tutors, and she was sent to the Golden Tower to be trained when her power outpaced the local Cunning One.
She took to her studies well, although her focus on conjuration to commune with outsiders unsettled her mentors. In the end, she graduated at the top of her class and the mages she left behind were relieved to see her go home and get involved in hometown politics.
