Frottst
History
Frottst was founded as a refugee settlement in 1299 LE by Jal goblins fleeing the Cumbu Mountains. Two years later, when Minnsdt Schprua led their leaders to Ritilium to swear allegiance to Vonuscidus Ritilius, the fledgeling town became the seat of a new Tebouwa in the Principality under the leadership of Ter̂uus Winicdus Catunsipuna, the First Awatcovus of Frottstebwa.
The settlement grew steadily as a hub of trade between the Ritilians and the gnomes of Wid. However, in 1430, disaster struck in the form of the Long Quake. Roughly 5,200 folk died in the quake and the horrors that followed - nearly half the population of the city. Matters were not helped by the fact that the Awatcova, Terua Paecca Puusor, died in the Quake and her heir, Teruus Gemicus was abroad, studying at the Hall of Spears in Bveyth.
