Namen
The Land of Namen was seen as unlivable, as the ground didnt seem to grow plants, and the animals there seemed to be more mean then else where. But Explores from Graylist where able to settle this land. They became friends with the local birds and most importantly hawks. When there friendship grew with the hawks, they learned how to live on the land and not just fear it.
Living in Namen isnt a lot like the rest of the U.S.A. its not a easy life, the land is barren and people have to relay on meat, or help from animals that can find food for them. But luckly with the modern era it's become a lot easier to live there. getting fresh food from else where makes the harsh cold landspace more barrable.
Structure
Namen has few big cities, with most people in small towns with less then 100 people with in them. Country wide laws are not poplar here as it is so baren. Even tho the country has a president; They're mainly seen as the person who talks for the country and do not much.
Culture
Namen is seen as a backwater old fashion country. Tho Those of Namen belive them self more as tradtional people who want to keep old ways of life alive. This doesnt mean that their homes dont have techolgolny but that they keep a blance of pass and now. Many people still grow and catch there own foods, many here dont have jobs outside of helping the home. The culture of money here is really only seen as a thing to deal with if you live in one of the bigger cities in Namen.
Recipies in Namen tends to be ones that can be easily switched out with other indrediants depending on what is had on hand. Pan frying is the most common durring the summer, but in the winter boiling dried can canned foods are the most common.
History
In the past Namen was a bit of a no mans land, being a place that people passed threw to travel else wise. Few clans would spend longer then a season there but it wasnt common. When the people of Graylist came to espcae the Bloodwars witch was at it's worst in it's lands they where more then happy to follow the rules of the people all ready here. Witch wasnt much but they didnt want to be seen as a burdern.

Namen much like Graylist give hawks and other pets more rights then other countries do.
