After Shaar's second revival, He came back, but as Shaar was weakened by his long sleep, Erakel's mind was breaching, and That was what allowed him to lure his own son, by acting more goofy, making voluntary strategic errors to help Karth and the Morningstar mercenaries. Once freed from Shaar's control by Karth, he, himself, took the life of his son, to stop his rampaging, before slowly dying himself, but not before giving all his knowledge of Aether thread weaving to one of the most promising seamstress:Quarhnia Onirem

Erakel have a very difficult position to take, loving his child, thinking he raised him correctly in his childhood... only to see him kill his long-last friend Dario Elina. He always has felt guilty and responsible for such terrible crime, and always thought of a way to redeem himself to Isara Elina, Dario's daughter. But alas, as soon as he touched the ground of kray-maven, he became the mental slave of his own son, and a monster that slaughtered countless souls. Today, Erakel cannot feel anything but deception and sadness for his son, that he participated in killing before committing suicide.
History
As he got freed from his son's control, he saw in Quarhnia the resurrection of Calyster's culture and magic. And as Quarhnia shown enthusiasm for sewing and creating aether clothes, he was more than happy to teach him all about the art of Aether sewing.

History
Nothing could have erased the friendship and respect Isara hold for that man who gave her education and affection like a second father. Nor would Erakel ever forget the respect he had for his friend and his daughter. Erakel always sought pardon from Isara for all the things he and Shaar had done, but Isara never had anything to pardon to someone who was under control, and even was able to act against it. now that Erakel is dead, Isara still hold fond memory of a friend.
