His first years were without her mohter, and after the fall she did everything to take up on the lost years. He first holds grudge of that, and with the time forgot she even ever abandoned him. Now he sees in her the great and beautiful, protective warrior that rose him to the person he is now. History
Isara, when she heard Quarhnia was a Calyster, first thought about a joke, though she knew Orbos was not good at making jokes. And then she saw it, the crystalline structure that would be giving life to a full Calyster. In the 90 years Quarhnia spent in silence, Isara was constantly here, teaching her the meaning of being a Calyster. By their combined effort, Isara became linked to Her via a fragment of Aether crystal, and Isara was able to appear as a familiar by the side of her granddaughter.

Karth, as god and first overseer, as always been a legend and symbol of encouragement for Isara. When she actually encountered him for the first time, she was not able to contain her joy, she was a child. She learnt to show more neutral feelings for him, but deep inside, she was still excited. Nowadays, as Karth is dead, she continues to revere him as a founder, but also as a friend, who helped her a lot.

Shaar was interested in Isara, they were childhood friend and spent most of their time together, and Spiridia spoiled his feelings. Isara was seeing Shaar as an adopted brother, a good friend, a confident. But now, Shaar killed her father, destroyed their plane, and tried to conquer a world, enslaving their inhabitants. She can only hate him, and him, deprived of his feeling by his consuming madness, only remember the hollow of a past love.

History
Nothing could have erased the friendship and respect Isara hold for that man who gave her education and affection like a second father. Nor would Erakel ever forget the respect he had for his friend and his daughter. Erakel always sought pardon from Isara for all the things he and Shaar had done, but Isara never had anything to pardon to someone who was under control, and even was able to act against it. now that Erakel is dead, Isara still hold fond memory of a friend.
