Rram sh'Az va'Ux

Life

According to Tdjaia'ucchan, he had been a general of the armies of Pardatheum. He campaigned against the forces of the Hells at the Mountains of Fire, and besieged the "Dread City". The gods commanded him to slaughter the inhabitants of the city - but when he breached the walls he found not the demonic hoards he was expecting, but ordinary and innocent people. He defied the command of the gods, and in retaliation they sent a "great wave of battle-madness and bloodlust" to drive his army to massacre every last one of the city's inhabitants.   According to Fiordelise Votellian van Bovelden, he was a gnollish general in the service of Pardatheum, who was responsible for the sacking of the city of Kasma'atul in northern Aaranak, and for the massacre of the tieflings who dwelled there; Fiordelise stated that the survivors of Kasma'atul were later invited to ally with the Paragons, but refused to do so on account of him having sided with them. She relayed that his true name was "Rram sh'Az va'Ux".   The portraits owned by Ambrosius likewise depict him as a gnoll.

Regrettably, it appears that [...] considered him the greatest potential threat [...] to spare the world from what is to come. Whilst we find his logic spurious, and conclusions abhorrent, the unfortunate fact remains that [...] would likely be capable of such [...] of the resources provided by Tchokayahattak, this may no longer be feasible.

The Call of the Ninth

And the ninth spoke: “I seize divinity for the sake of the universe; for Truth, for Hope, for Faith, for Life, for Unity, and for Creation. Let the gates be unbarred! Let the locks be broken open! I claim the Pivot, the Fulcrum, the Axis, for I have beheld the Face of the King, and pledge myself thus to Victorious Night”

Aftermath

Dendrithekimallion implied that he may have been at fault for the Paragons' failure and subsequent corruption, due to hesitating at a vital moment during the ritual.   Tdjaia'ucchan claims that he was overwhelmed by bitter nihilism and that, seeing no way that the end could be averted or the suffering of the world eased, he concluded that the only moral thing would be to bring about the end of the world as swiftly as possible.

The War of the Paragons

Tdjaia'ucchan claims he travelled to Pardatheum with Skalx after the destruction of Shas'Ellith.   His throne is believed to have been in Pardatheum.

Binding

Dendrithekimallion claims he was bound in a "prison of darkness" in Pardatheum, and that he was the last of the Paragons to be bound.   Morkath's Account however states that he was never bound, and that the battle at Pardatheum ended in a stalemate, in which Rram had gained complete control of the Fountain of Night but was contained within a certain region of the physical world, at great cost.

Followers

Little is known of the followers of Rram that may have survived his binding. It is assumed that they entered the cycle of reincarnation established by the Oath of Night, and that the vast majority of them have fallen to the Utterdark.

Legacy

The extent to which Rram might continue to influence the world is unclear. It is speculated that he may continue to seek its destruction, even from within his prison of darkness.
