Midnight Theater

The Midnight Theater, or the Midnight Carnival, is a theater troupe based in downtown [name]. They own and operate a theater building of the same name, which shows various indie and noir movies, as well as big-budget horror movies and occasional stage productions. They are best known for full productions and shadow-casts of Rocky Horror Picture Show and Repo! The Genetic Opera.

Culture

The Midnight Theater is a counter-culture group which favors goth and rock/punk aesthetics. Many of the core members are also members of Topp's Nautical Society, which shows in some of the backstage jokes and activities.  Most of them were social outcasts in high school or college (or both) and found theater as a way to escape from bullying or social pressure. Marek favors hiring for official positions from inside the troupe, so many of them are also employed by the Carlton Theater.
