The Aduran Royal Family
Known for their striking blue eyes, the Aduran royal family holds the surname Galanis, meaning "pale blue eyes" in Aduran.
The Galanis family have been the monarchs in Lorannis since 1379.
Iven Galanis is the patriarch and ruler of Adura. Nicknamed "The Lion" by his allies due to his long hair, most people hear the name and expect him to be an aggressive man, but nothing could be further from the truth. The only people for which this may be the exception is his own children. Iven believes in a firm, but still loving, way of raising his children, especially Liam Galanis due to his inheritance of the throne upon Iven's death.
Mirla Galanis is the matriarch of the royal family. She is kind and loved by most people who meat her. She has always been able to truly feel and understand others emotions and with that she has made many connections and become a very talented diplomat. Sensing the true intentions of the people she sees has caused her to become more guarded over the years, as she does fear the wider world as she has seen first hand how dangerous people can be - especially when they are in an opportunity to rise in power. Due to her more careful tendencies, she is guilty of coddling her children to an extreme and not letting them far from the safety of Chromalour. This has created a problem in the case of her eldest son Liam, because of her overbearing and protective parenting, but Rex Iven believes that Liam has grown up without the wisdom needed to rule. Realizing that her husband has real and right concern, she has accepted to let Liam leave the safety of Paramenthia on his own.
Tessa Gelanis is nothing short of a genius. She has the mind to accomplish anything she desires, and with that a natural affinity to magic, however despite her gifts she has decided to be like her mother and use her mind for diplomatic affairs. She is the second oldest sibling in the Aduran Royal Family and out of all the siblings, her and her elder brother Liam get along the best due to their close age (17 and 16 respectively) and similar paths. Where Liam has a natural gift for leading, Tessa struggles with communicating to people. Tessa is very practical with her talents and has overcome most problems that would usually be solved through words by simply providing the solution in an objective way that no one had thought about yet.
Dani Gelanis is the second youngest sibling in the Aduran Royal family at ten years of age. She hasn't fully grown into the person she will be, but she is already quite adept at horseback riding and archery. She has combined her hobbies into a new sport: riding through the forest and shooting at the targets she has set up for herself. Dani's mother Mirla doesn't approve of the sports that Dani chooses to indulge herself in but Iven disagrees; Iven supports Dani's calling, saying that "if Dani were to ever be in any danger, at the very least she has the ability to defend herself and escape."
Alan Galanis is the youngest sibling of the Aduran Royal Family at the young age of 7. Alan has always been a very quiet child, being raised almost entirely in the shadow of his mother Queen Mirla. Alan is not quiet because he is afraid though, he is quiet because he chooses to be an observer. Alan will enter into a room and find a spot where he can sit and watch the goings-on of people who don't realize his presence. If he does this for fun or to learn is unknown to everyone except for Alan himself, people have asked him why he chooses to sit and observe people and his response is always "I'm just watching".

Liam Prorex
Liam Galanis is the eldest sibling of The Aduran Royal Family and future king. Liam is kind and brave, and most importantly a natural leader. Liam's best qualities he takes after his father, so much so that he has been given the nickname "The Young Lion". He is almost set to be the perfect inheritor of the kingdom but he lacks wisdom. He was raised in the lap of royalty and has never had the chance to experience the outside world due to his mother's overprotective nature. Liam has heard the call from Terak and has joined Crusaders of Terak as a result. Liam has journeyed for a short time now, after almost immediately finding Sarah Ainsleyon the road with an arrow in her stomach and saving her life, she left him in the morning after stealing his horse and leaving him a note with her lipstick stained on it with elegant written ink: "Until we meet again my hero." They have ran into each other a few times since, many times on the opposite sides of the problem, but they have never been directly hostile with each other and usually end up finding a way to help the other in the closest way to mutually beneficial, but sometimes one is left completely lost (and that is mostly Liam).

The Galanis coat of arms is a gold sun behind a silver oak leaf on a red field. The heraldry represents generosity (gold), glory and splendor (sun), peace (silver), continuous growth and fertility (oak), and their lineage as warriors (red). The oak and sun imagery also extends to the territories they hold: Adura is known for its nearly everlasting trees of brilliant autumn colors (reminiscent of the sunset) and oak trees are some of the most populous trees in the territory.
