The Book of Abstruse Geometries, written in Aklo, is an ancient discourse on the secrets of the Dark Tapestry that includes details of dimensions, creatures, and places. Looking at the book causes one to feel nauseous and experience the physically sense of being swept away. The alien nature of the subject matter forces any reader of the text to be mindful of their own sanity. The book is said also contains a number of arcane spells pertaining to planar travel. The Celaeno Fragments are said to be a collection of manuscripts from a scribe that claimed to have visited the fabled library of Celaeno, a distant star. While it contains some information on the pantheon of the Outer Gods, it's main focus is the Cult of the Black Goat, a sect of followers of Shub-Niggurath. A selection of these works was given to Kyrrn by the Esoteric Order of the Palatine Eye while in Thrushmoor.Eltdown Shards
The Eltdown Shards are a set of ancient and fragmentary writings reported inscribed on stone tablets that has never been before printed in a book. Lore is unclear on how many tablets there actual are, just that they are an incomplete account of a "great but unknown race". "Lest some would label it blasphemy, I have chosen to explain certain actions and beliefs, and let the Gods be the judge of us all."Written by the Comte d’Erlette several centuries ago, the Erlette Manuscript has two main thrusts. In part, it discusses the structure and beliefs of cults that worship Outer Gods and Great Old Ones, though in a rather general way. Second, it is a work of the deadliest black magic - a grimoire that contains all necessary information for performing a wide variety of rituals and magic effects. Its greatest weakness is that it has few dismissal or protective effects: its focus seems to be upon the sending of dangerous creatures to an enemy and spells that harm others. The Star Maps of the Age of Serpents details astrological diagrams as well as old geometric diagrams of formula and proofs that we designed before the dawn of humanity, when the serpentfolk were the dominate race on Golarian. It is also refers to the "Convergence", when certain celestial bodies form in a certain way. The period that this occurs, the "Concordance", is nigh. It also makes mention of the "Transcendence", a time when those who can manipulate ley lines can access great power.
