When his great, great, great grandfather immigrated to the United States, the immigration official at Ellis Island changed his Hungarian last name from the name/word Tél to Winters upon learning what it meant. Lukas works as a Customer Success Manager for Microsoft, and his mother Emelia Winters is a colonel in the United States Army currently serving somewhere in the Middle East.
