Nestled in the southern expanse of the nation of Strum-Heim, Angren's Rift stretches as a profound chasm that plunges into the depths of the earth. From its stygian abyss emanates eerie echoes of ethereal wailing, while sporadic illuminations cast fleeting flashes of light that dance across its shadowed walls. Ancient lore weaves a tale of dread, recounting how the notorious demon lord Carach Angren once exploited the presence of an ancient volcano within the rift, employing it as a conduit to traverse into the material plane. However, the valiant hero Finn Chull arose, wielding his might to banish the malevolent entity, causing the very volcano to recede into the land. As the portal leading to The Lake of Immolation sealed shut, the once-mighty volcano retreated, leaving behind an indomitable testament to the triumph of mortal courage over supernatural menace.
