Gnothic Blight

Gnothic Blight is a disease that afflicts spellcasters that have interactions with Nothic s or frequent the same areas. It is an airborne disease, so direct contact is not required for transmission.   Although, chance of infection does increase with direct contact.

Transmission & Vectors

Gnothic Blight is an airborne disease.  Direct contact with a Nothic may result in infection.  Prolong contact with Nothic  or their environment may result in infection.

Symptoms

Once infected with Gnothic Blight, the disease proceeds along a well established path, though the infection may take anywhere from 4 - 8 days to run its course.

• Mild Paranoia
• Increased visual perception, empathy, along with increased paranoia
• Acute Paranoia, and the victim seeks seclusion as they experience ocular pain
• Full conversion into a Nothic
