Ikaya, the Ice Fortress
Ikaya is the remnant of an ancient Shianti Empire fortress. The Shianti Empire abandoned the location thousands of years ago.
More recently it has served as the seat of government for the Reghed Tribes of Kalte . They occupied the upper levels of this location for hundreds of years before being dislodged by Vonotar in MS 5048.
Soon thereafter it was reclaimed by the Reghed Tribes of Kalte when Lone Wolf executed the The Capture of Vonotar the Traitor . The councils of the Reghed Tribes of Kalte met here for dozens of years.
In MS 5090, an unknown shaman, a master of Wytchcraft attempted to access the power unearthed earlier by Vonotar . In his greed, his actions destroyed the stable Shadow Gate located at this site. This caused the explosion that distributed Chardelyn across Kalte .
