The Silver Warden's descended into the temple of Marnusht, That Which Desires , battled against his high priest, and sacrifice themselves through the Power of Friendship to banish his influence from Vicugan once and for all.

The Silver Warden's found the true temple of Marnusht, That Which Desires deep below Vicugan. Therein, the fought valiantly against the high priest of That Which Desires. The mummy lord was aided by the canticles of his long ago subsumed priests, the orchicalum statues that served as his bodies, and disintegrating black sands of his otherrealm patron.

By might and valor, our heroes claimed victory by a hair's breadth. Only then did they turn their attention to portal to the Far Realm that the high priest had opened using the Rod of Marnusht, the underlying artifact within the tribal dressing of Silug's Siphon. Lashing out against the will of the great old one, dragon breath and arcane infuence using the Rod of Marnusht beat him back where prayers and the presence of heroes failed. But the vortext began to grow and the point of no return approached.

Rather than flee, our heroes stood hand in hand, making a barrier of themselves to enclose the portal. Their combined Superego versus the pure ID of That Which Desires. The black sands ate awy at the ground beneath them but still they held. They held and they pulled. Inward. Down. Together. As they all fell to the disintegrating sands, their ring shrunk ever smaller until the ring no longer existed. The Portal to the Far Realm no longer existed. Marnusht's influence was rid from this place once more.
