Laughing Blight

Laughing Blight is a tropical disease said to originate from Colodos. Its main symptoms include slow necrosis and neurological degeneration, often leading to uncontrollable laughter. It kills regularly, to the point of widespread transmission being unlikely outside its native environment.

Geography

Scholars from the Bastion have studied the disease, and reported that it seems to thrive only in tropical environments such as its native Colodos. The disease burns out quickly in other environments, unable to spread far.

Notable Cases

The Tragedy of Gancia involved an unusual spreading of the disease in a non-tropic environment. The short-lasted outbreak killed a number of prominent Leonese nobles, including the king.
