Materia 01: “To The Sky”

General Summary

The party meets for the first time in Kyros, meeting Ransley Nikolic, who is particularly interested in a magical rose-gold ring. United by common interest in an audience with the Sages of Melora, the party travels to Sage's Peak, where they receive prophecies. Chased by vampiric spawn, the party then attempts to escape, nearly being stopped by Fredrika Todesfall, who spares them.
Taken to an unfamiliar castle in the sky, Metia, the party gains access to an inner sanctum in which they return their Cardinal Shards and gain and audience with Sora Anzai, who implores them to gather more shards of her artifact.
The party returns to Materia, and selects to take a magic circle to Ascanopolis, following Sora's advice.
