Materia 35: "The Long Road"

General Summary

Utilizing a spell scroll left behind by the Dusk Companions, the party banishes an Infernal spirit from Myriell Aria. Retreating to Can Vahair'h, Viseri exacts revenge on Utkan Sebasi, killing her for her part in Myriell's possession. Looking for answers related to Jun Houou, the party learns he has travelled to Ishllond. After friendly banter with Myriell and Viseri, the party travels with Guar Orion's merchant convoy to the city.
Staying in a room once occupied by Fumihiro Yamato, the party considers their options. After being forced to wait to make contact with Jun, the party investigates Northsail Brewery, a locale with a connection to Shinobu Yamato. Heading back to their lodgings, the party opens one of Fumihiro's old safes, revealing that Daichi Anzai possibly had an extramartial lover in Ishllond, with Hanako speculating that Myriell is possibly his bastard.
