Kyojin was born as a union between their mother a Mirran and their father a Daidarabotchi. The conditions of their conceivement were unloved with their father forcefully having his way with a frail woman, being born against the shores of Ahgrondmer in Sey their mother having no other option. Kyojin with barely a breath of the world was taken as their infant body was submerged into the tides, unfamiliar with the world or experience they were severed from life.
This prompted the Leviathan to bestow a gift, an exchange, for Kyojin to mature and grow and bring new change to the surface. Causing them to wash ashore and become discovered by Thecin Lichen who named Kyojin and raised them to the age of 6 before letting them out into the world. With Thecin viewing it as a needed action, for Kyojin it was a betrayal of distaste.
This untainted life left Kyojin living on the streets in Ahgrondmer Vheld and learning to fend for themself. Growing up with a distaste of the Shesire Sovereignty further pushed them to live a cruel life. They didn't have access to much information in their early life, and not fully knowing of the pact their soul commenced they desired to learn. They would steal from libraries and markets for books and food.
Once they reached the age of 18 in 70AS, they had obtained skills on the street to be deceptive, strength and agility from the harshness of living on the street and some level of street smarts to hold an understanding of the world. But this is when they started to want change, the ideology of the old life of the Helman people before the Pact of Flame appealed to them.
They sought druids that taught them to tap into their mystic abilities, leading them the gift to guide the currents and command the tides. But one other ability they learnt was they could raise undeath called Kara and command them without effort. With this, they grouped up with others who desired the same reformation of the government, this became the rebellion which eventually became known as the Kyojin Kingdom.
In the year 73AS they started gaining followers of Yogsha from the homeland of the Daidarabotchi. The priests guided them showing how to tap into it, this information of been a god reborn became their logical assumption of where their gifted magic came from, not knowing that it originated from the leviathan.
Soon after the priests started approaching the crusader Ingvar Erakson Stormbreaker who brought great wisdom showing how redemption is the way back. Through his enlightenment, Kyojin set out to offer this guidance and oath through principle and method. As a sign of this dedication, they undertook the oath themself which guided them to their mother and upon finding her Kyojin decided to adopt their mother's family name.
However the support and guidance from the priests stripped them of their individuality as the title of Yogsha was given to them, and the use of Kyojin fell to the way side. They would continuously battle to try and keep the names relevance, but this was a failed attempt.
This didn't dismiss their goal of relinquishing the Shesire Sovereignty's vile hold on the country.
But this has led them to be responsible for a civil war damaging the lives of millions, which if they don't win the lives that passed would be for nothing and in vain.
