The adventuring party of
Kenai Kirkgard,
Edrat Ve M'this,
Valetay Varikan and Koda grew up in the small hamlet of
Byrodén. Once they turned about 15 years old they all went away to study in various guilds or go on an adventure to find themselves. It was the autumn of 5259 that they returned to
Byrodén to find it abandoned without any signs of combat or anything about why everyone had left. Searching through the houses, all had been emptied of personal belongings and all that remained was furniture. The group not aware of what had happened decided to head out together to find out what had happened.
Kirkgard
During their journey they came across the city of Starhome . As they explored the village they found that strange things where happening that they could not explain logically. As they kept investigating they found that a False Hydra had taken root in the city and devoured a lot of the villages inhabitants and due, to it physic power, made people forget they existed. During the investigation it was found that Kenai Kirkgard parents had both been in the village and prepared themselves against it but failed. In addition Kenais sister, Lenai Kirkgard, who had been travelling with them had also died.
Feisun
After the incident at Starhome, the party was travelling towards "unexplored ruins" when Koda rescived a vision of a temple to their north-west and a voice telling her to come. Afterwards their hands became full with a trial for essentially "grave robbing" and them a dragon hunt. During this time they traveled to the peak of Starpeak where Kenai Kirkgard received a vision. Travelling to the temple would be the death of Starhome but travelling to Starhome would be the death of Koda. Although conflicted what this vision meant it was broken not more then a few moments later as Edrat Ve M'this buried Koda in an avalanche which killed her.
When they reached the temple later they found Kodas father Feisun in the temple. It was abandoned except for Feisun who had taken over an eternal watch over the temple and a spirit. His mortal body already dead.
Returning Memories
After an adventure on the high seas and a magical surge leaving Edrat Ve M'this unable to move, memories once repressed by the false hydra returned one by one. This time however, Kenai remembered a moment from her childhood which had been repressed by the false hyrda due to involving her parents. The memory was also a memory previously changed by Zavelir to keep her and the other kids from finding out the truth.
