Merriby West

A continent that formerly consisted of many city states is now part wasteland, part political battleground. As city states vie for power, the Rhorellian Empire's influence increases rapidly. Many of the former cities now lie in ruin from war that ravaged the landscape. Two dangerous and mysterious magical auras push against one another at the center of the mainland, while the remaining civilizations do all they can to keep them contained. The land was once dominated by Liaris, a city of elite Eladrin royalty who kept mostly to themselves, but loomed over the rest of the cities in the west.

Today, the majority of Merriby West is torn between two masses of ever expanding magical energy. Varmor's Domain engulfs the west. It is a blackened waste created by the mere presence of an Ancient Black Dragon who came to dwell in the ruins of Liaris. East of that is the Liarin Haze, a corrupt fey barrier that was created by the destruction of a large Lacryma Crystal.

Fauna & Flora

The animal life is not as diverse as Merriby Main, but there is some overlap. Due to the Liarin Wastes' expansion, there are a number of mutated beasts and plants.
