Scholars' Roads
The Scholars's Roads extends from the Hrazdan River to the western wall of Fayah and is bounded on the north by the People's Aqueduct and the south by the Emir's Aqueduct. The western district is dominated by the College of Fayah and the Iron Archive. Moving east, however, once past Scriveners Row, the press of smaller houses, flop houses, dormitories and hotels for students with little coin to spend lends the district a clautrophobic air.
Further east, under the shadow of the two aqueducts, where daylight can become dear, gin halls, gambling halls, brothels and magic shops of ill repute become more common.

Points of interest
College of Fayah
Prominent schools of alchemy, natural science and regligion. Smaller schools focus on history of the Empire of Itaz and cuttures of the nomadic tribes of the Taachlaz Mountains. The Iron Archive
The principal library of Fayah, the Iron Archive was envisioned as a symbol of peace by the first Sheikh installed in Fayah after the Mabahan Exapnsion. Pale stone from the nearby mines were bound together by iron bands made from the melted weapons of the invading Mabahan army. However, the demand that the conquered deep dwarf clans submit weapons for the project as well was met with some resistance (and some dwarfs to this day note that the weapons born of a Deep Dwarf forge were worth at least twice, if not ten times, a common Nadabi blade....). The Archive contains books gathered from accross the Emirate, but its major focus is on histories, primary documents and artifacts, of the long fallen Tachlazi Empire, and the Giants of the Taachlaz Mountains.Scriveners Row
Closely situated book binders, paper and inks shops catering to scholars and students of the College of Fayah. More reputable magic shops can be found here catering to students and professors. Alchemist shops can be found further north, closer to the People's Aqueduct.Shrine to Itai, the Sage Lost Amongst the Scrolls
Tucked into a smalll alleyway north east of Scriveners Row is a small open air shrine to Itai, the Sage Lost Amongs the Scrolls. Frequented by students asking for luck before an exam as well as those looking to find lost items and, more frequently, lost family members, the small shrine is off the beaten path, and relatively unknown to those who live outside the Scholars Roads.Gloomweave
the eastern most reaches of the Scholars Roads are heavily shadowed by People's and Emir's Aqueducts, lending an even more shadowed, claustrophobic feeling to the narrow alleyways of Gloomweave. Rut-gut liquor, brothels and gambling dens can be found here, along with less reputable magic shops and lower quality purveyors of books, quils, paper and inks.
