The Wood Nymph Theatre

Purpose / Function

It was built to hold a theatre hall, mostly for spiritual-themed plays and concerts.

Alterations

It’s had reinforcements built into it so they could expand and add more floors, as well as add more room to the main concert hall.

It’s made of the largest redwood tree in Fzalder

History

The tree has always been considered sacred to ivierae, especially in the south where it resides. It was never considered to hallow out the tree until the early 1000’s when an ivierae with the power to speak to plants said that it had wished to be turned into a concert hall, to host the ivierae singing their Rites of Passage songs. There was pushback from many, saying that it was probably a trick to profit off of something so sacred, but it promised that the tree was fine with it as long as no money or profit of any kind was made off of it. The fact that the tree is still going strong to the modern day feels a true testament that turning it into a concert hall was the right decision to make.
And still to this day, no profit is able to be made off of it. It’s said that a wood nymph is guarding the tree, making sure its boundaries aren’t crossed, and punishing those who do. Some believe the wood nymph to be the spirit of the plant talker, Aelith.
Currently, there are # floors to it. The first and original floor is mostly used for people to sing their ROP songs. The second floor is for regular concerts, the third floor is for puppet shows and plays, and the fourth floor is devoted to holy worship.
