History
When Blaine arrived at Mythrite, he realized the reality of life behind his walls in Daggerford. The vicious, cut-throat boom town would eat him alive if he didn't act with care. Initially, his nerves bounced everywhere he walked. Eventually, he met Ginka, and those nerves calmed. Ginka's kindness and naivety kept him sane. The two of them would become best friends, with Ginka often dancing along to Blaine, strumming his Lyre from his soul.
History
Blaine's first encountered Barim at the Quivering Quaver. Barim walked into the instrument storage room and nonchalantly began playing and messing with some of the instruments while bored of his current job as Town Guard. It's no question to anyone who sees them that the two don't get along. "Stop doing that, you'll break it!" Blaine shouted. While continuing without a care, Barim managed to snap all of the strings off of the lyre he had been entertaining himself with. After cursing as his hand bled from the snapped strings, his temper caused him to smash the lyre into the ground. "What the HELL is wrong with you?!" Blaine tried to push him away in a fury. With the little physical strength he had, he only succeeded in making himself angrier, and showing Barim the difference in their physical capabilities. "You couldn't fight a 12-year old, let alone a monster with how weak are you. What's a pipsqueak like you doin' in Mythrite?" Blaine pulled his knife. "LEAVE, and do your job PROPERLY!" Barim left, unable to stand the weakling that stood before him. Ever since then, Blaine made every attempt to avoid confrontation with such a careless brute who could disrespect the very surroundings of where he went.
