Session 65: Citizens of the Oleander Throne

General Summary

The party camped in the secret basement of the church, with Acacia protecting their rest. Zadoc pledged to free the Leviathan and if he failed, they would stop the fires to let Acacia to reach the city. After their rest, the party began to travel back to the city and Acacia paerted the kudzu in their travel to make it easier As the party traveled closer to the city, they came across a group of war mages and Living Fireball Spells that were fighting back the advancing kudzu and the botanical undead, who let them pass. Zadoc saw one of them had the divinity of a paladin devoted to the All-Father.
The party reached the city and thet returned to the Fortune and Avarice Gaming Hall where Bolvaic went to see Jim Gallows once again. Bolvaic told Gallows that he had retrieved the items and that Argon helped them recover the items. Gallows asked Bolvaic if they found any other items with the collection and Bolvaic told him very unconvincingly that they had not, but Gallows did not press the issue further. Gallows gave Bolvaic a single strand of hemp rope and tols him that it was part of the rope that was used to try to hang him. He told Bolvaic to bring the strand back tomorrow and he would have the citizenship papers readied for them, asking if they had any name preferences for the papers, but they did not.
The party returned to the inn for the night and Argon went back to his forge, but he stated that he would return. He offered to continue to help the party, in exchange for their offering safe passage for him and Mimsy to the other isles. The party agreed and Argon said that he would accompany them to the Lighthouse since the party does not know much about the Oleander Throne or the city. He planned to go as an Artificer with the party accompanying them as they claimed that there were problems in their production with the resources coming from the Lighthouse.
Bolvaic returned to Jim Gallows the next day and gave him the strand from the rope and Jim Gallows provided him with the forged citizenship papers. Returning to the party, they distributed the papers. Zadoc was Cobalt, Bolvaic was Guilt, Millie was Brass, Ilbryen was Candle, Arelmeni was Candle, Tiarjead was Whisper, and Donk was Lupine.
Argon offered to help the party with disguise self items to hide the non-human nature of some of the party, and the group planned to go out the next morning.
