House Mosslyn

House Mosslyn has existed upon Aelaes since 217 CE, and since then has lost much in way of size, power, and ruthlessness. This now diminutive noble house prefers a method of peace, service, and acceptance of all races that many other Aelaen noble houses find distasteful. House Mosslyn's territories are only 40 acres in size, and the villages and towns that reside within their boundaries are often visited and managed closely by the Mosslyn's themselves. The heads of the Mosslyn house have a much more modest living means than other Aelaen houses, and only tax their people as much as they need to for maintaining the lands. This leads to a generally favorable outlook on the house by it's people and the surrounding lands, but a less favorable one from the other houses that see them as a possible fuel for rebellion. The Mosslyn house, however, is almost extinct. With the only surviving child being a woman after the main branch and secondary branch fell ill and died between six and three months ago, it is imperative that she marries and keeps her house name, or the house will be dissolved and the lands, people, and estate will be acquired by the house she is married into. Luther Rarel is the acting head of House Mosslyn, having been appointed as such by his daughter, Melāny.
