Lomis

The Unseen Puppeteer

Conrad Quillwright

Lomis

Lomis is a lich first encountered by the adventures as 4 of them were traveling to Greenest for a festival.   Lomis seemed to be trapped inside a room sealed by magical means. He stepped outside of a portal after sending a undead minotaur after the party.   Lomis was later referenced in a journal entry written by Eliron Silverquill. The journal entry was found in front of a door similar to the one he was trapped behind.   A translation from a book about the Amulet of Belgor has writing that possibly could be writen by Lomis. It is currently in the possession of Conrad Quillwright

    Andrew Notes

    Possible Connection to Lich
The Lich appeared from the portal associated with Lomis; they could potentially be the same entity, or the Lich could be serving or related to Lomis
    Relationship to Trella and Vos
Unknown; Trella and Vos are associated with statues found in the lair. Their connection, if any, to Lomis is unclear.
    Role in Goblin Lair
Unknown; despite the goblins occupying the lair, there's no clear evidence suggesting a direct connection to Lomis. However, the existence of the portal and magical constructs indicates that the power of Lomis or a similar entity could have influenced the site.
    Potential Threat
The connection to powerful entities such the skeletal minotaur suggests Lomis may be a formidable entity.
In my discourse with a band of resourceful adventurers, I found myself immersed in a tale of a peculiar figure known only as Lomis. This enigmatic persona seemingly held sway within a goblin-infested subterranean lair. The identity of Lomis was first conveyed by a confrontational robed figure, whose dogged loyalty hints at the potential influence and power that Lomis commands.   The conjecture amongst these explorers postulates that Lomis could, in fact, be the formidable lich that materialized from a mysterious portal within the labyrinthine depths. This deduction, however, is purely speculative at this juncture, and no definitive correlation has been established.   Lomis, as a figure of authority, is an entity shrouded in uncertainty. The certainty of their influential and potent reach is demonstrated by the zealous servitude of the robed figure and the subsequent manifestation of the lich. If the conjecture holds true, and Lomis is indeed this lich, the individual would possess impressive magical prowess, alongside a keen intellect, attributes commonly associated with such undead spellcasters.   The whereabouts of Lomis continue to be a point of contention. Could Lomis be sequestered within the cavern, or perhaps beyond the mysterious portal from whence the lich emerged? Yet, considering the enigma that shrouds Lomis's true identity, we cannot discount the possibility of Lomis existing elsewhere - manipulating events from a veiled location or surreptitiously operating in full view.   The motivations behind Lomis's association with the goblin-occupied underground lair remain as elusive as the figure itself. If Lomis is indeed synonymous with the lich, the lair might serve multiple purposes - a prison, a portal to our world, or even a base of operations for grander designs.   The scope and method of Lomis's intervention in the unfolding drama within the cavern remain to be fully unraveled. The fierce dedication exhibited by the robed figure suggests that Lomis may be directing events from afar. Furthermore, if Lomis is indeed synonymous with the lich, they have demonstrated the ability to command formidable creatures, such as the skeletal minotaur, and potentially transport or summon entities via portals. The saga of Lomis is far from concluded.
