Autumn Valley
A southwestern region nested in a fertile valley surrounded by the Blackland mountains. To the west, is the Onyx river. To the east is the Inverno River. To the north are the White Lands. To the south is Winters Cove It has been ruled by the ruled by the Metamesia family out of the capital city of Oasis.
Geography
Autumn Valley is a fertile valley encircled by mountains. However these are some of the steepest and highest peaks in Morteron which we said to be formed by the stome Titans. This makes the valley not easily access by outside sources. The only safe and easy accessible entrances the Laydon in the south, Oromount in the west, Leafspeke in the east, or Zeazon Pass (The largest) in the north. Also the step peaks and feeding river help to maintain a stable climate in the valley. They still have mild seasons, but the they never reach the extremes of heat, cold, humidity or drought.
History
Despite its extremely favorable climate, environment and resources Autumns valley has remained relatively peaceful. The settlers of the region have not needed complete for resources and the mountains provided natural protection from more ambitious parties. During the Sailous kingdom and empires this area relatively remained peaceful by paying tribute to the potientially hostile neighbors.
