Oasis

Capital city of Autumia and seat of House Metamesia . It was built around Arthur Falls, where the Otoro river falls into Paradise Lake. The Main castle is built in the middle of the cascades of the falls and can only be accessed by a series of bridges. The rest of the city is built among the rocks of the cascades and the lands surrounding the shores. The rocks are all connected through a complex series of bridges paths and underground tunnels. The city also has a series of devices that can control the water flow. This can be used to reduce flooding, or to use flooding in order a form of protection and irrigation. Recently they have also began building into the cliff side of Arthur Falls
Some Notable Location of the city:

• Castle Mestamesia: Home of House Metamesia located at the base of Paradise Falls. Design by Arthur Metamesia himself, it is renown for its beauty and architectural ingenuity. The castle actually redirect some of the falls through the castle to power many of the castle functions. The castle also functions as one of the main control centers for the devices used to manipulate the rapids.
• Kaleido Bridge: The largest arch bridge that leads from Orodio plaza toward Castle Metamesia. Named after the wife of Arthur Metamsia, as he designed and built it as a gift for her. The rims of the bridge are decorated with sculptures of swarms of butterflies made with various metals.
• Orodio Plaza: A large stone plaza with an Orodio Tree at its center. It serves as a Major trading post and public community area.
• Floating Dock: Where the city meets Paradise Lake. The stone docks the move and and can be alter in a way that makes them seem like they float on the water.

Demographics

Oasis actually the city with the largest Sangoi population, as the city started as a Sangoi refugee village. It also has a large Akneid, Laogai, shiro and angel population as well

Defences

Oasis was design with a complex array of bridges, dams, canals and tunnels. If need these devices can be modified to form protective barriers such as moats and walls of water. However as a peaceful area it rarely uses this devices for defense. They are mainly used to deal with flooding and irrigation.

History

Originally a Oasis was a refuge village for Sangoi escaping the Sangoi genocide of the empires before the 13 kingdom. It was located at the base of the what was then called Paradise falls. The village was a predominately peaceful Sangoi families and was well known for their skilled builders. Then Arthur returned to the village after he participated in the Convergence barrier ritual. A genius architect, he became to design the various bridges, damns, tunnels and canals that allowed the residents of Oasis to tame the rapids at the base of the falls. Oasis grew into a prosperous city, they served as a catalyst of the alliances that become to be know as the kingdom of Autumia.

Architecture

The city in made mostly of stone. Its architectural style resemble ancient Chinese structures It was design as a series of visually appealing array over bridges over various canals and waterfalls. The layout of the city has sculptural appearance as a whole the works organically with the falls,

Geography

At the highest point of the city is Arthur Falls at which Castle Metamesia is built. The rapids from the falls are then direct throughout the city. At the soutern end the city meets with Paradise lake.
