The Highway

A large part of the Wilds east to the Talon Mountains and west to the Red Waste was dubbed the "Highway" after The Night's Watch built a highway through the region to enable trade with Orsinium. Although the trees were cleared from the direct road, if you stave from there you'll encounter many forests in this area. The center of this region is marked by the Wayspire, also serving as the primary military outpost in this area for the Night's Watch. Furthermore, the settlement of Everglade was found here before being razed through the appearance of a giant Rift.
