Red Dog Tavern and Dessert Shop
This is a large establishment combining three different businesses.
The legitimate businesses are a tavern and a pastry and candy shop.
But it is also a front for gambling in its basement and prostitution on the second floor. However, it does its best to "keep up appearances", and thus the neighbors tolerate it. It is one of the nicer buildings in this part of town. Gambling and prostitution are not illegal, just that most neighbors would not want to live near it.
Missy is a thirty-something woman who really is a pasty chef and candy maker. She legitimately runs that part of the shop. It is her husband who runs the brothel and gambling. His name is Brock.
And yes, there is a red dog! And his name is Red. He is a medium sized Hound dog of sort. Very friendly, but watch your food - any food left unantended is fair game.
