Unisus

Plural "unisi". Also referred to as "unicorn-pegasus".

Basic Information

Anatomy

Unisi are horse-like creatures that also have both a single, straight spiral horn in the center of their forehead and a large pair of feathered wings on their back. They take these features from their parent species, Unicorns and Pegasi, as well as their all-white coloration.

Genetics and Reproduction

Unisi can be bred either from one Unicorn and one Pegasus parent, or two Unisi parents. A pairing of one unisus with either a unicorn or pegasus is believed to result in a unisus offspring as well, but such a pairing has never been bred.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Unisi are herbivorous, and eat mainly grasses and hay.

Additional Information

Domestication

Unisi have been domesticated by Fairies for many millennia. They are frequently ridden as mounts by Fairies, Pixies, and other Good species, as well as kept as pets or domestic animals just for companionship.
