Custodis Pansophical

The Custodia Pansophical have a monopoly on the knowledge and lore. In their libraries lie secrets and stories that should better remain hidden, as well as all general knowledge and history of The Empire about the universe and it's inhabitants. It can therefore be said, that if a monetary price could be put on knowledge, the Custodis might be one of the richest organisations within the empire.
At the head of the Custodis lies the High Loremaster, who controla the grand library in the Empire Capitol of Exelnar, where all knowledge compiled in all the other libraries by all under the Custodis is stored.
While the Custodis value knowledge above everything else, they still have to coexist with all the other churches, the empire nobility, the imperial army and the Arcanic Order. And as sutch they usually allow access to the general parts of their libraries for a fee, and trade in favours for political and monetary goals.

Structure

The largest library and center of worship is located in the Empire Capitol of Exelnar and it is where the complete archive is located and the High Loremaster resides.
Most all cities have a library in them, if anything just to collect and store all the knowledge and lore of the city. These libraries vary in size and importance and are led by one or more Loremaster who are in turn assisted by Keeper. It is the keepers role to tend to the library and organise the scribes who copy and maintain the library, as well as helping attendants with what they need.
