The Seasons

Although Nalan is referred to as having actual seasons, this is something of a misnomer. In reality, the weather on this small planet does seemingly whatever it wants, with no regard to what actually makes sense.
It is an incredibly rare thing to experience roughly the same weather two days in a row, as waking up one morning it could be warm and sunny, yet by the noon it could be pouring with rain. These effects are felt the most in the Central Dominance, where the weather seems to be at its most erratic. In the Southern Dominance, the effects are somewhat less pronounced, however it is still fairly normal for it to snow here. The Northern Dominance is something of a disconnect in this respect; although its frigid climate ensures very few actually go to live there, the weather seems to be very consistent - always being some slight variation on freezing cold.

Manifestation

This effect is best seen in the sporadic temperature changes and sharp changes in the weather.

Localization

The change in the weather are often fairly localised to within a few hundred miles.
