Talia

Tucked away in the northeastern expanse of Rayas, Talia stands as a modest domain compared to neighbouring regions. Mostly encircled by mountain ranges providing a formidable natural defence against both forces of nature and any would-be assailants bold enough to challenge its borders.   Soon after the formation of Dragontale in 975 AC, it became clear that this pocket of land could be easily defended if the terrain was made use of correctly. By the year 1008 AC a series of defensive structures were constructed to cut them off from the rest of the continent allowing the Cazir clan to focus on training their warriors and expansion.   The population of dragonborn boomed in the early years leading to the large concentration of dragonborn found across the region today, most heavily felt in the city where they make up over half of all residents.   King Gelraak and their Crestguard keep law and order throughout the region, especially in the city and larger towns. Border walls and trade routes are patrolled frequently and defended fiercely, any threats are handled with impressive might and speed.   The settlements form a tight-knit community that relies heavily on one another to operate as seamlessly as they do.
