Keris
The Destroyer
Keris is the god of the Destruction domain, and is one of the gods of the The Second Era, along with Sil’vat, Layoya, and Aeshlir.
In particular, his domain relates to the unmaking of what has been made, as a counter to the creative instincts of the other gods. For as much as that would potentially set him against the others, the other gods recognize that the destruction of one thing may clear the way for the creation of another; as such, the other gods (particularly Donar and Layoya) embrace Keris as a welcome ally.
Keris has a particular affinity for Demons and Tieflings. Visually, he is often depicted with tanned skin and humanoid features, but with two curling horns and a large pair of dark red, bat-like wings.
Keris, despite the potentially chaotic nature of his domain, is known to be particularly deliberate with his words and actions. He is slow to anger, but slow to calm as well. In all stories of his interactions with gods and mortals, he is depicted as level-headed and rational, often the most so of all parties present.
