The Nexus Guard

Headed by Commander Elijah Almis, the Nexus Guard are the Glow’s primary defense against the Rift. Primarily stationed in and around Nexus, they man the barrier to the Exiled Lands and protect the Tower from any attempts of Rift interference, specifically preventing the danger of the link between the Glow and the other realms being torn open. For security reasons they are the only individuals in Nexus allowed to wear personal phase-shifting devices, which allow them to jump to any phase of Nexus without the use of portals to keep the peace. Many of its members were powerful heroes in their lifetimes, such as Jaya Almis, Gavin Reeve, and The Artificer.
